Bourjois Liner Feature Eyeliner in Noir £7

As always, a recent shopping trip to Boots resulted in spending copious amounts of money that I should really be saving. However, I was in need (yes, need) of a new eyeliner pen and mascara. I noticed that Bourjois had a promo offer, whereby if you purchased two full-priced products then you receive a complimentary blusher – perfect. Without any hesitation, I snapped up the Volume Glamour mascara and the Liner Feature pen. When it comes to mascara, I always choose a volumising rather than lengthening one, simply because I think that my lashes are quite naturally long. The Volume Glamour brush isn’t as thick as I’d usually prefer, but I decided to give it a go since it claims to ‘double eyelash volume’. I’m actually pretty pleased with the results as I found that it added length to my lashes too.
Since using Maybeline’s Master Precise eyeliner pen, I would never go back to a liquid liner. Luckily, Bourjois also have their own version so I thought that I would purchase it in order to receive the blusher. The nib reminds me of a felt tip pen and it is SO much easier to use than a liquid or gel based liner. A cat eye flick is my signature, everyday makeup look and I find that the eyeliner pen is the perfect tool to master this. I’d say that the Bourjois Liner Feature is just as good as the Master Precise version. I have also tried Collection 2000’s ‘Extreme 24hr Felt Tip Liner’ but found that it didn’t provide a smooth application. With the Bourjois, I just glide the pen across my lid – smudge and hassle free.
I love the packaging of the blusher. The French design reminds me of being in Paris and even though it’s so small, it still has a little compact mirror and brush so it saves having to carry all three separately! The shade is number 34, Golden Rose which combines a dusky pink tone with shimmering flecks of gold. Applying it lightly to the apples of your cheeks gives a lovely rosy glow. It also has a really nice fragrance which is unusual for a blusher – it smells really sweet and flowery!

Post to you soon xoxo

  1. It’s funny how “need” works. lol. Honestly though, you didn’t spend that much. I mean, yeah you could have not spent anything, but at least you didn’t end up spending four times what you already did. That mascara is nice by the way, makes your lashes look super thick.

  2. Thanks for liking my blog post, that’s how I ended up reading your blog! I love your make-up posts! I’m looking for a while allready for a good eyeliner! Do you recommend the bourgeois one? xo
