OOTD – Neon & Stripes

Shirt – Topshop
Blazer – H&M
Neclace – New Look
Leggings – River Island
Shoes – New Look

This is the outfit I wore to an event this week, hosted by Cosmopolitan magazine. Since being well-presented is key to making a good first impression, I thought that the shirt-blazer combo epitomised the ‘smart-cas’ look which I wanted to acheive and with neon being one of my favourite trends this season, the New Look necklace proved to be a zesty addition to my outfit. I’m a huge fan of New Look at the moment; it’s certainly raised the fashion bar in my eyes. Whenever I visit, there’s always such a huge range of jewellery at such reasonable prices – definitely worth a visit!
The H&M blazer is an old purchase, but I think that blazers are a classic garment that can be worn again and again without looking outdated. It even caused two girls to come over to me and ask where it was from – point proven!
My favourite part of my outfit are most definitely the leggings, I can’t get enough of monochrome right now. I’m fairly positive that 90% of my wardrobe consists of black and white. I keep telling myself that I need to be more adventurous with my colour choices but it’s as though I have a strictly monochrome magnet attached to me *hands over eyes*.
I’m off out this evening and I’m running rather late, so apologies for the short but sweet post!

Post to you soon xoxo

  1. Those leggings are adorable, if I saw someone wearing them I would definitely ask where they got them.
