On my last day at LFW, I decided to channel the sports luxe trend by teaming my new duster jacket with a pair of Nike trainers. A duster jacket has been on my wishlist for some time now, so when … Continue reading
After almost dying from the cold on day one of LFW, my outfit for the second day was slightly more weather-appropriate. Emphasis on slightly… My love for an “all-black err’ything” ensemble will never fade, but I did choose to brighten … Continue reading
For today’s outfit post, I decided to dress up a relatively casual outfit with a blazer and pair of sandals. I love how I can get away (just about) with wearing a pair of comfy trousers or joggers by simply … Continue reading
It was love at first sight when I spotted this cream coat in Topshop and as soon as I tried it on, there was no going back. Perfect for spring, it’s lightweight, soft and simply gorgeous – right? With the … Continue reading
I wasn’t sure whether to blog about this outfit since it was a last minute panic choice and the only photo I had was taken with my iPhone, but after a spot of editing to improve the quality I thought … Continue reading
Top & Sunglasses – ASOS, Waistcoat, Skirt & Shoes – New Look, Socks – Primark, Hair bow – Topshop, Necklace – Zara*, Clutch* – SeeMeBags Here’s a quick post on what I wore to London Fashion Week on Sunday. Ignore … Continue reading
I was recently set a challenge by the up and coming jewellery brand, NOWSEEN.com, to take part in their ‘We Love Fashion’ campaign. The task is to create a London Fashion Week-worthy outfit, in the bid to get my hands … Continue reading
Today’s outfit saw me channelling my inner Wednesday Addams, as I opted for a somewhat gothic ensemble. Christina Ricci, eat your heart out. Safe to say my New Year’s resolution to incorporate more colour into my wardrobe is well and … Continue reading
Just a quick post today as I fly to Barcelona in the morning and still need to do all my packing, eek! Nothing better than a last minute panic pack, right?! I wore this outfit to go shopping yesterday. I’m … Continue reading
Last week I went to the Trafford Centre, initially with the intention to just browse (yeah right, who was I kidding?!) But of course, my good for nothing intentions were soon demolished the moment I set eyes upon those 4 enticing letters…S-A-L-E…
I’ve wanted the monochrome blouse from Zara for a few weeks now, and so when I saw that it had been reduced from £29.99 to £22.99 my bank card magically leaped out of my purse – okay, it’s not a huge saving but every penny counts! Besides, you can’t go wrong with a bit of zebra print – black, white, what’s not to love?
Admittedly the necklace wasn’t in the sale, but was a steal at £6.99. I have a bit of a thing for New Look jewellery, I swear 90% of my necklaces are from there! I bought it to wear with a dress in mind since it’s quite a formal piece. I think it looks a bit too much with this blouse, but I decided to put them together for the purpose of the picture.
As I’ve probably said a million times before, MAC is my all time favourite cosmetics brand. I purchased this lipstick using the ‘Back to MAC’ policy – whereby if you hand in any six empty MAC products, you receive a free lipstick of your choice. The cremesheen lipsticks are my favourite because they don’t dry your lips out easily and instead, leave them feeling moisturised. The shade I chose is called Crosswires, which is a bright, corally pink.
The Topshop shorts had been reduced from £32 to £15. I don’t really wear shorts that often, I tend to reach for a skirt or dress, so this purchase was entirely necessary! I was drawn to the floral design and the highwaisted style, which I find is a lot more flattering than those that sit on the hips. In order to show off the shorts, I paired them with a cropped tee (also from Topshop). However, I didn’t feel entirely comfortable wearing them together so I think I’ll opt for a floaty vest top when I wear them out.
The floral crown is very festival-esque and highly appropriate since I’ll be attending Wireless fest in London next week. I got it for a bargain £5 reduced from £12.50. I think it’s a really good dupe of the Crown & Glory bands because it doesn’t have that cheap sort of look to it!
Hope you like my buys. I’d love to hear your thoughts.
Post to you soon xoxo
