I love being set challenges, so when Pearl & Butler asked me to take part in their blogger competition with two tickets to North Wales’ Festival Number 6 up for grabs, I rose to the opportunity. Having already attended Wireless not so long ago, my festival fever is still running high and so I put together this festival inspired outfit in next to no time.
Perhaps being slightly optimistic on the weather front, I chose to wear my fringed denim shorts with my white lace bralet. I think I can vouch for everybody when I say that denim shorts are pretty much a go-to when it comes to festival attire – simple, comfortable, and can be paired with just about anything.
Round sunglasses are a big hit this summer, reminiscent of the late legend, John Lennon, although I don’t think I could quite pull off those signature blue lenses! I’m still yet to become a fully fledged round sunnies convert, but the half-rimmed gold effect is a nice touch. My floral kimono completes the outfit, adding a pop of colour and yet again more fringing. Festival and fringing seem to go hand in hand, right?! I love the boho chic feel it creates. And just to be on the safe side, I popped on a pair of plum Hunter wellies. Gotta keep those tootsies protected!
So that’s a round up of my festival inspired outfit. All I need now is some live music, real sun and a TAN. Ahh…
