Clarins HydraQuench Moisture Replenishing Lip Balm – £19*

I’m back on the blogging scene after a long 5 weeks apart from my beloved laptop. I’ve really missed being able to blog regularly, so I thought I’d start off with a beauty related post after being sent Clarins’ new HydraQuench Moisture Replenishing Lip Balm. When it comes to lip care, I’m one of those girls who doesn’t just stick to one lip balm, but has a different one lying in every make-up bag that I own. But since I started using the Clarins Moisture Replenishing Balm, I honestly haven’t used anything else. It’s like the Holy Grail of lip balms. Literally.

The Moisture Replenishing Balm contains essential rose wax, which produces a thick (but not too thick) formula that conditions, smoothes and adds shine to the lip. It can be used throughout the day, before going to sleep, or as a base for lipstick. The tube packaging means that application is easy and mess-free, whilst the slanted tip provides the same comfort as applying a lipstick. The fragrance is sweet, but not overpowering and lips remain hydrated for a good few hours before needing to reapply. Retailing at £19, it does sit on the more expensive end of the lip care scale, but it’s definitely an investment as it’s an everyday essential.

Have you tried Clarins HydraQuench Moisture Replenishing Lip Balm? What other lip balms do you love?

Post to you soon! xoxo
