Soft & Gentle Press Day Feb 2014

Just one of the perks of working for a magazine involves attending exciting new launches at press events, so this afternoon I stepped away from the office and popped over to the beautiful St. Martins Lane Hotel for the re-launch of Soft & Gentle. Having dabbled in a range of Soft & Gentle anti-perspirant deodorants in the past, I was curious to find out more behind the brand and their products.

The setting for the event was simply stunning, with individual stands for each fragrance presented in an aesthetic manner. Moving across each stand, a Soft & Gentle specialist informed me about the story behind the deodorant and allowed me to sample every scent. In essence, there is an anti-perspirant to suit all women, with each of the scents designed to complement our most loved perfumes. For example, the sweeter, floral scents such as Lavender & Patchouli are perfect for women who love perfumes such as Viktor & Rolf’s Flowerbomb or Marc Jacobs’ Honey. This unique concept in itself sets Soft & Gentle apart from its anti-perspirant deodorant competitors.

Soft & Gentle deodorants use the Advanced Body Responsive formula containing an active ingredient that controls the release of sweat. Essentially, the deodorant cleverly senses moisture on the skin and works with your body to provide 48hr protection. The revitalised range offers nine gorgeous fragrances including Pink Grapefruit and Lotus & Watermelon. I quickly filled out the Soft & Gentle questionnaire to discover my perfect fragrance and amazingly my results matched me to the fragrance I liked the most – Orchid & Passionflower!

I wholeheartedly recommend Soft & Gentle. The range of anti-perspirants are available from Boots and other good retailers.

Post to you soon! xoxo
