Rimmel Moisture Renew lipstick – 330 Sloane’s Plum £6.49

It’s been a while since there’s been a beauty post on my blog, so today I have decided to share my recent drugstore purchase. Plum and berry toned lipsticks are high on my autumunal makeup trend chart and if you follow my blog, you’ll be aware that I’m a sucker for a bold lip. In a bid to stray from the tempting £15 splurge on my all time favourite MAC lipstick, I decided to try a cheaper alternative. Rimmel’s new Moisture Renew lipstick range caught my eye, with its sleek (but not quite YSL) packaging and buy-me-now price tag. Sloane’s Plum (330) is a purple/brown toned lipstick that can be applied lightly for a subtle pop of colour or built up to look deeper and more opaque. As the name states, it is highly moisturising and doesn’t dry out or stain the lips. I find that it lasts at least 5 hours before needing to reapply. I would highly recommend this range if you’re looking to experiment with bold and bright shades. It’s got the London Look stamp of approval from me!

Have you tried the Moisture Renew range?

Post to you soon! xoxo

  1. I love this range… The one I bought ages ago and still love is the Vintage Pink. It’s amazing, and if you like lipsticks with mauve-y tones like the plums etc, then I bet you’d like this one too! A double coat and it definitely starts to have a slight purple look, while still maintaining a pretty pink. Great read, thanks for writing… I can’t wait to try Slone’s Plum now!
