Aussie Dual Personality Anti-frizz + Conditioning milk review

I’ve never done a beauty product review on my blog before, but there’s a first time for everything! As I have recently dyed my hair (see post), I thought it was time that I start looking after it a bit more. Although my hair is one of my favourite features, I can tend to be lazy with it and not really give it the tlc it most definitely needs (trips to the hairdressers are not on my frequency list). So I’ve been on the hunt for a hair product that specifically targets frizzy/dry hair. Having naturally very thick and curly hair, I’ve endured an ongoing battle with my dry hair for as long as I can remember. I’ve heard some positive things about the Aussie hair care range so I thought I’d give it a go and see what all the fuss is about. The product I purchased is called ‘Dual Personality Anti-frizz + Conditioning milk’. It is enriched with Kelp extract which is a nutrient-rich seaweed, believed to leave hair feeling silky and well-mannered. On first impressions, I liked the bottle as I much prefer using products with a pump dispenser so that I can control how much I use. It can be applied to damp or dry hair which is good for me as I don’t wash my hair everyday so it can be used as an everyday product. Because I have very long hair, I use about 4 or 5  pumps and distribute it evenly from root to tip. The scent is very pleasant and leaves your hair smelling nice and clean. As a ‘milk’, it is very lightweight and so doesn’t make your hair feel greasy or heavy. In terms of it being a ‘frizz miracle’, I wouldn’t go as far as calling it a ‘miracle’ product. Although it did reduce the dryness in my hair and made it feel slightly softer, I didn’t feel that it was that amazing. So I certainly won’t be in a hurry to buy it again. However, I do recommend you try it for yourself if you’re looking for an easy to use, light hair product. Overall rating 6/10.

Post to you soon! xoxo
